10 Songs to Pump Up Your Day

10 Songs to Pump Up Your Day | HISsparrowBlog | #christianliving, #music

I love these posts. There’s something about finding great music and sharing it with others that’s just… I don’t know…fun, satisfying, revitalizing.

I found this quote by Roy Ayers and I think it’s spot on:

The true beauty of music is that it connects people. It carries a message…

I think music helps us learn things about ourselves, but when we add the gospel to it, we can learn who we are in Christ in ways we’re not open to otherwise. And when we know who we are in Christ, we can be all we need to be in this life. Now that’s power and connection.

I don’t really want to talk too much today. Let’s just get to the tunes!

Headphones by Britt Nicole

Undeniable by Blanca

Lifeline by Thousand Foot Krutch

Northern Sky by Capital Kings

Brave by Skillet

Grace Got You by Mercy Me

You Say by Lauren Daigle

Running with Giants by Thousand Foot Krutch

Count That High by Jordan Feliz

Burn Back the Sun by Decyfer Down

That was fun – as always. I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I enjoy making them.

Let me know your favorite song in the comments. I know it’ll be hard, but if you’re like me, you can have more than one fave. Mine: Count That High, Grace Got You, Lifeline, Northern Sky. Almost the whole list. 😉

And if you found any artists you liked here, I’m sure they would appreciate it if you subscribed to their channels on YouTube. I’ve included a link to each artist’s YouTube page in the description above each song so it’s easy as pie for you. They can use all the support they can get for their very important ministries.

Blessings!

I always like reading lists of other people’s favorite things. 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing your list on Grace & Truth, Ashley. I love that you picked some ‘heavier’ groups like TFK and Skillet. I love listening to music – I can’t carry a tune or play an instrument myself, but I love music!

    1. Thank you, Aimee. I’m glad you appreciated those bands. I don’t think they get the exposure they should a lot of the time.

Hey, I’m not great st singing and such either, but we can just carry on our joyful noises to some great music.

      Thanks for stopping in!!
