Ever feel ugly? Do the dark circles under your eyes, the extra poundage around your middle, or your pencil-thin ponytail taunt you in pictures?
Whether others consider us to be model-worthy or not, we all have areas of insecurity, and Satan loves to find those insecurities and pick and pick and pick….
The Truth
Although on my bad days I focus on everything I’d like to change about myself, on my good days I know that if I could change everything I hate about myself, I would only find more to hate the next day.
And good days help me remember that some of those things I hate are beautiful whether I can see it or not because the Creator made me. The One who paints the lavish sunset each day.
More than anything, good days remind me to focus on God’s truth: the truth that this life is about more than physical beauty in the now.
So much more.
I hope you found this list helpful: I know I have. Feeling ugly is something that won’t ever really be “fixed” in this life, so I’ll definitely revisit this list in the future. As Paul says, thinking on what is honorable and true always helps (Philippians 4:8).

I’m in awe
Yes, it can be mind-blowing to think about how God made us and, becuase of that, we are beautiful—even those parts of us we don’t esteem as much. Thanks for sharing!
